About Modiform

Modiform is a family company that develops cultivation, transport and packaging systems for the horticultural sector. From four locations, the company supplies tens of thousands of sustainable products worldwide, and at a pace where IT literally has to run day and night. The pressure on the internal IT department was increasing. As Modiform continued to digitise, its dependence on a stable, secure environment grew.

The challenge

Together with Pink Elephant, it was decided not only to solve the problems, but also to lay a solid foundation for the future. In the first year, the basics were addressed: the hardware was renewed, the environment was made more stable and a clear roadmap was drawn up. No isolated interventions, but a plan on which Modiform can build in the coming years.

The Result

What started as management assistance soon grew into a partnership. Modiform's IT department and Pink Elephant's specialists work so closely together that they are practically one team. Where necessary, Pinkers jump in with in-depth knowledge, and Modiform can rely on them for advice on everything IT-related; from new solutions to assessing suppliers.

The collaboration not only provided stability, but also significant improvements. A clear security policy emerged, with stricter access rights, two-factor authentication and better password management. As a result, Modiform is more compliant with the requirements of the AVG and the organisation is ready for further digitalisation.

What Modiform particularly appreciates is the way it works together. No distant SLAs, but direct lines of communication, transparency and a shared mentality of getting things done. "We are a no-nonsense organisation. We saw the same attitude at Pink Elephant," says system administrator Sven Andeweg.
